WE NEED MORE MALES

We need more males in the medical field it's continuously growing at a skyrocketing rate. Also, more and more medical jobs are being offered because myriad of people are in need of medical help. One of these jobs is medical assisting, which is a career path that can be completed either in a year or two depending on the accredited school. If anyone is interested in pursuing a medical career, then they may want to without a doubt. Medical assisting is a career you can truly be proud of. Not only because you love the nature of the job,but because it allows you to help a lot of people. Essentially, medical assistants can work at either clinical or administrative department or both of a health care facility. Their main duty is to assist nurses and doctors in taking care of patients. They are also allowed to give patients their medication, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure that all medical instruments are properly cleaned and sanitized. More so, they are trained on how to operate a number of medical equipment such as X-ray, electrocardiograph, and everything in between.

Medical Assistants

Medical assistants typically graduate from postsecondary education programs, and employers may prefer to hire assistants who have completed these programs. Programs for medical assisting are available from community colleges, vocational schools, technical schools, and universities and take about 1 year to complete. These programs usually lead to a certificate or diploma. Some community and junior colleges offer 2-year programs that lead to an associate’s degree. All programs have classroom and laboratory portions that include lessons in anatomy and medical terminology.
Some medical assistants have a high school diploma or equivalent and learn their duties on the job.
There are no formal educational requirements for becoming a medical assistant in most states. Some states require assistants to graduate from an accredited program, pass an exam, or both to do advanced tasks, such as taking x rays and giving injections. Let's kill Cancer.

I feel that the medical field should work harder to kill cancer. Let's cure it, even though they say they isn't one for cancer, but we all know there is one. Doctors need to stop lying and telling their patients and their families that there isn't one. In the United Kingdom a scientist has shown that marijuana can kill leukemia cancer cells. In study it has shown that this type of cancer has killed over 24,000 people in the United States. Dr. Wai Liu, an oncologist at St. George's University of London stated "Cannabinoids have a complex action; it hits a number of important processes that cancers need to survive." (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/25/marijuana-cancer_n_4158865.html) So if the UK is doing it and it's working maybe the US should try to do the same thing. Keep some people from dying. 

Some future career thoughts

Yes being in the medical field is a wonderful thing as my career, but I would love to go pro in some sports. Been playing sports my whole life. So as I'm watching basketball (Bulls vs. Heat) I can imagine how it would be to play for a pro team. It would be amazing to win multiple champions for one of the best coaches out there, Phil Jackson. He is now the coach for my favorite basketball the Lakers. Yes that purple and gold. Have many fans of my own wearing that good ole' 24 just like the great Kobe Bryant. Going to a medical school and I can learn more about the human body, so while I am playing any sport I will know when I need to stop or when I can keep going. Most sport players go past their bodies work and end up hurting themselves. I can also help a lot of my other team mates out. I believe going to a medical school can really help out with me wanting to play sports. I have gotten hurt playing sports before. Now only would I like to play basketball I would more love to play football. Yes for the best team Cowboys. Knowing the human body can better me as a player in my eyes.
